Versailles takes half a day if you plan it and a whole day if you do not. “Versailles is extremely beautiful and a must visit when in Paris. Everything went well until the end when the bus departed without us. We were arriving to the pick up place, as the bus was leaving, the driver and I made eye contact thinking that he was going to stop, but he didn't. It was an excruciating experience because our phones were dead from taking lots of pictures and had to find someone with a phone to help us find our way back.”

“This is the worst tour I ever been. Please refund me the money. The bus left us at Versailles and left at 12 pm exact. The exit from Varsallies was crowded and we were delayed by 2 minutes. The bus didn’t wait for us. Even though the guide Natalie was Russian and knew we were in the tour and didn’t wait for us. We had to wait in the heat for an hour to get a taxi and pay 65 euros extra even though I already paid 235 euros for this tour. This tour is overpriced. Don’t buy this this is a scam!!!!”

“I have had a LOT better tour guides. This guide focused on Greek methodology and constantly asked if anyone knew any of this stuff. If there was an opportunity to sit for a minute he basically sneered that there was a LOT more walking to do. Versailles has rich wonderful history, there is MORE than just Greek Version. In addition the fountains were not working the day of our visit. While you need a guide at Versailles, I wouldn't recommend City Tours.”

“Everything from the beginning till the end was great! The pick-up location is very easy to find, the bus was on time. Then, once we got there, we had a maximum 10 min wait (went through a special tour entry), compared to others that were in line for hours. Got the audio guides ans the exploring began. Had time to do all the castle, walk through the gardens, enjoy the fountain show, have a coffee and head back to the bus for the way back to Paris. If more time is wanted, the option of taking the train back is also available (but the cost of the ticket is not…”
