I imagine you could spend the allotted 2/3 hours, but we whizzed through in about 45 minutes, which was fine. It is basically two vaulted wine cellars, so it is a physically small space. The wine tasting was worth the price by itself. Again - packed with information, but because a guide is talking to you directly it is easier to follow. Detailed information about regions, soil, climate and trade. Not massively generous in the tastings, but you are in Bordeaux - step outside and fine a…”

“Very good! Our guide/somelier explained the precess of wine making as well as basics in wine tasting. We learned a lot. My only complaint is that they allowed small children in this activity - people brought babies, who were utterly bored of course. The parents were shushing them the full 2 hrs - poor kids; but very distracting for the rest of the guests.”

“the tour was really good. learnt a lot about wine and the history of the buildings. There is only 3 tastings of wine and they are not generous, and when they explain the wines, it’s hard to get an idea. It was a good day out though and very picturesque and the bus was very nicely air conditioned. would recommend if you want to know a bit of history and culture behind wine making :)”
