Père Lachaise is a working cemetery of forty-four hectares and roughly seventy thousand graves, and it is easy to spend two hours finding nothing without a plan. The guided walks below cover the layout, the notable graves and the history of the place. Each entry lists the meeting point, the length of the walk and the price. Visitors are asked to keep to the paths and to leave the graves as they found them.
